# Creating a pipeline

## Step 1 - Create new pipeline

Start by clicking the "+ New Pipeline" button and enter the pipeline name and description. Click on Proceed.

## Step 2 - Add steps

Click on the "New Step" button to open the component library.

Choose "Custom Step" if you want to run a custom container step.

## Step 3 - Configure steps

To configure a step, simply click on the step. Modify the properties and other things in the configuration drawer.

## Step 4 - Create dependencies

Drag and drop from the "right endpoint" (filled circle) of one step to the "left endpoint" of the next step.
